Annual subscriptions - 2008

The Governance Board has decided to simplify the basis on which membership fees are charged. The fee for Individual Members (and families) will be unchanged for 2008 but for choirs will be on a “per singer” basis.

A choir’s membership fee will be $4.50 per singer ($3.50 for schools and children’s choirs) with a maximum in the following cases:

- all choirs $400

- school or children’s choir $75

- church choirs $75

The $4.50 includes each singer’s APRA licence fee, except for schools and children’s choirs that have their own APRA arrangements. It also includes GST. The new charges will raise about the same amount of money from members. It is significantly simpler that the former seven-category list with its arbitrary boundaries and will more fairly reflect the benefits of membership.
