About Us
The New Zealand Choral Federation Inc. is a non-profit organisation promoting the performance, creation and enjoyment of choral music. We represent the interests of over 21,000 members from 230 chamber & community choirs, over 280 school choirs and 400 individual memberships. The NZCF provides:
• Training for choral professionals and conductors
• Promotion of leading choirs and choral excellence
• Performance opportunities for NZ composers
• Events to meet the diverse needs of NZ choirs including the “The Big Sing” for secondary schools.

We are a volunteer organisation with a full-time Chief Executive and part-time Operations Manager. The NZCF relies on the dedication and goodwill of its many members spread across New Zealand for its success.

The NZCF has won the rights to host the triennial World Symposium on Choral Music in Auckland in July 2020. A separate company has been set up by the NZCF to manage this event.
