The NZCF is looking for an experienced and highly-organised Accounts Administrator to join our small, dynamic team. Reporting to the Chief Executive, this role has responsibility for providing full accounting services to the NZCF National Office, including preparation of regular management reports and the annual financial statements of the NZCF and managing relationships with key external parties relevant to the role such as the IRD, Charities Commission and external auditors. The services of a professional accountant will be used on an occasional basis to review the accounts for audit or to answer queries as necessary.
The role is also responsible for various tasks focused on support of the membership and the membership database along with any other administrative tasks needed for the smooth functioning of the NZCF.
A background in a sole charge, senior accounts clerk/administrative role is essential. A high level of proficiency in Xero will be an advantage. Attributes sought include a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, a commitment to meeting deadlines, good written and verbal communication skills, strong customer focus and initiative and willingness to contribute wherever needed as a member of a small dispersed team.
