It has been a busy start to 2019 for the team at Tour Time – hard to believe a quarter of our year has already passed! We recently had the absolute pleasure of joining the WSCM2020 and IFCM teams in Kansas City to promote the World Symposium on Choral Music to the delegates at the ACDA National Conference. Not only was it a unique opportunity to promote the Symposium and New Zealand as a destination alongside our good friends, but we also made some exciting new discoveries for festivals in the UK & Europe and were introduced to some incredible new products on the market.
For instance, The Voices and Wine Tours create unique chances to relax, visit some incredible scenery and engage with locals in Italy and Spain, and the Stirling Bridge International Arts Festival is held each year in July across some of Scotland’s most stunning locations. We are extremely pleased to add these two festivals to our already impressive list of international opportunities for your choir. If participation in an international festival is on your “must do” list, please contact our team to discuss opportunities all around the globe.
Whilst on the topic of festivals…. In a few short weeks we have the absolute honour of touring Euphony Choir, from Auckland’s Kristin School, to the Budapest International Choral Competition, where they will be competing against some of the best choral talent from around the world. We have no doubt that they will do their country, their school, their conductor and their families proud. Budapest is just the first destination of their tour before continuing to Salzburg, Vienna, Prague, Nuremburg and Munich! We wish this extraordinary group of young singers the very best, as they undertake this amazing opportunity and create some true #momentsthatmatter.
