We’re delighted to announce that British ensemble VOCES8 will join the 12th World Symposium on Choral Music (WSCM2020) programme with two headline performances. WSCM2020 will be the ensemble’s Auckland debut.
VOCES8 is renowned for its a cappella concerts and collaborations with leading orchestras, conductors and soloists. With a catalogue of acclaimed recordings that have reached the top of the classical charts, VOCES8 maintains an ongoing performance programme while continuing to release new music.
WSCM2020 Artistic Director John Rosser says, “Securing VOCES8 is a real coup for us. We can’t wait to share this world-famous ensemble’s wonderful sound and charisma with our colleagues, our choirs and the general public.”
Tickets to the concerts, which take place on Sunday 12 and Tuesday 14 July, will be available to WSCM2020 delegates as part of their Symposium package. The repertoire for each performance may differ.
Limited public sales for each VOCES8 concert will be also available from early 2020.
